My Example smile

I am very humbled and honored to introduce myself as the new Head of Awfaz Global School- Dafna and to join this excellent school community. I can assure you that I share in this school community’s dedication to caring for our students every day while providing them with a meaningful learning environment.
I arrived at Awfaz Global School- Izghawa 5 years ago, as a seasoned teacher. Over the years from 2016 to date, I assumed the roles of becoming the Primary HOD and now the new Head in Awfaz Global School -Dafna.  I have provided educational training and school counselling, school improvement advice, CPD’s to schools in South Africa.
The 2019-2020 school year will mark my 22nd year in education. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education, Higher Diploma in Education and a Bachelors of Education Degree (B- Ed Honours) from South Africa.
We at Awfaz Global School -Dafna firmly believe that every child can exceed and that the cooperation between home and school builds trust and self-esteem in students. So our students can use their highest potential to shape their future, consequently, the future of our community and our nation. With my goal of advancing the culture of excellence here at Awfaz Global School-Dafna, I am devoted to continually exploring new ideas to meet the needs of all students and to interact with parents and community members more efficiently. We will be meeting as the staff, and with parents and students throughout the year to identify specific goals in the areas of student achievement, school climate, and parent communication. At Awfaz Global School- Dafna we teach our students to be independent, respectful learners emulating the values expressed in Our Mission and Vision Statement. We learn through exploring and investigating using the British Curriculum, which is highly challenging. We place our student from Year 1 through Year 6, with much success. Our dedicated staff possess strong critical and imaginative thinking skills, and are able to consider the best interests of the students while also working within their institution’s goals and standards with patience and teamwork.
To our students, I cannot wait to see you all! I hope that you are excited for this coming school year. It is going to be a meaningful and fun year. We will be learning together to achieve the highest accomplishments. As educators and parents we have an amazingly great responsibility to create a safe, happy enriching learning environment for our children.
To conclude, please remember that my door is always open to you. I sincerely welcome your conversation and input during this year. Let us keep our students the primary focus of our work.
